Here are some of the shots taken of this super cute family. My husband used to go to high school with Regina, and they got back in touch through facebook, after 15 years! We did this shoot in my master bedroom which just has the most amazing light! Declan is 5 months old and was amazing throughout the whole shoot.

Well I know this is a little late as my baby boy is now 6 weeks old! Riley James was born on April 2nd and weighed a healthy 9lbs 8ozs. He is absolutely gorgeous and we are loving being parents. Here he is!

Vintage Inspired Shoot | Chilliwack Portrait Photographer

So I'm still waiting for my little boy to be born, which gives me a good opportunity to edit a session that I shot a few weeks ago. This was a vintage inspired shoot that me and another photographer friend Elizabeth decided to do just for fun, which two of my gorgeous friends offered to model for. Unfortunately we started losing light towards the end of the shoot which meant the last images were very grainy, but I kind of like them like that.

This type of shoot would work great if your interested in doing a boudoir session, but aren't too comfortable about being in lingerie. Why not grab a gorgeous flowing dress instead! Please contact me if this is something you are interested in and we can discuss the details.

I recently went on a Fashion and Lighting workshop at Vancouver Photo Workshops, with my colleagues and friends Elizabeth & Mark Kowal from Adore Pictures. Here is a couples session that I shot just before Christmas. We were holding out for snow but unfortunately it didn't come in time, although the day of the shoot was certainly cold enough. This was such a fun shoot with a really cute couple. We ended up climbing on top of the Agassiz bridge which made for some really cool shots.

Oh my Gosh! Where does the time go. I can't believe how long it's been since I last blogged. I have been lost in a major kitchen reno and then Christmas and New Years. Happy New Year to you all.

I will start this years posts with a super cute birthday party shoot I did for an 8 year old girl and her friends and family. This was such a great idea and it was so much fun for them to get dressed up with their hair and make up done, and then get their photo taken. I photographed this gorgeous family last fall in Agassiz, so this year we thought we'd do a complete contrast and do a downtown session. It was really cold, but they battled through it and we had a great session. I just am in love with the black and whites from this session!

Here is the third installment of my holiday images. These are of Vatican city and the Colosseum. My gosh I completely fell in love with Rome. So much history there. St Peters Basilica is absolutely AMAZING!! All the "paintings" on the ceiling and on the walls are actually all made from tiny mosaic pieces, it's incredible. Hope my images do it justice. Sorry this took so long. I have lots of photos from our amazing trip so I will blog them in a few parts. First off is Barcelona where we stayed for a day, then we headed off to our cruise ship, and our first port was Villefranche in France. From there we caught a train to Monaco.

Hey Everyone. I know it's been a while since my last post but I have been lucky enough to be away on a 2 week cruise of the Mediterranen, which as I'm sure you can imagine was AMAZING! Photos to follow soon I promise.

But for now here is the rest of this engagement shoot post. This couple are very outdoors orientated and love the water so we figured Cultus Lake would be the perfect location for their shoot, as this is where they moor their boat. They are a great couple and are getting married abroad in November.

Well I have to say this was a hard session! Poor little 4 month old Sophie is teething and so we had to do this shoot over a couple of days. She would also get totally mesmerized by the camera! Sophie is super cute though and I loved the shots I did manage to get.

Welcome to my blog. This is my first post of a shoot I did a while ago with my beautiful friend Kiki. I've been wanting to use this barn and old truck for sometime now and this seemed the perfect shoot. We had a lot of fun. Be prepared, it's a long one, I found it SO hard to pick!
